Virtual Mental Health Therapist

 Massachusetts LICSW, or LMHC- EMDR Certified

Ray of Light Wellness is currently accepting resumes for a Mental Health Therapist to join this rapidly growing practice. This position offers a unique opportunity to work from home, meet with diverse client populations, and grow in professional knowledge and self care. Candidates who qualify will be responsible for creating their own schedules, developing and implementing treatment plans, and attend weekly practice meetings and group supervision meetings

Responsibilities:

• Work remotely from home in a well maintained private room

• Understand and apply HIPAA compliancy and standards.

• Work with an inclusive team of supportive therapists

• Communicate with and collaborate with doctors and other community resources to ensure continuity of care.

• Gather information from clients to understand their history and mental health status.

• Complete evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries as needed

• Have knowledge of effective treatment approaches; recommend the best treatment approach for each client, provide psychoeducation to clients

• Follow and implement practice and attendance policies

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must have a masters level degree and LICSW, Or LMHC

• Have at least 2 years of clinical experience

• Currently looking for clinicians licensed in the state of Massachusetts.

• Completed consultation hours and is certified in EMDR

• Experience or willing to learn how to use MacBooks and iPhones

• Required full time position, expected caseload of at least 23 clients per week; part time position, expected caseload of 15 clients per week

• Must be able to complete progress notes in a timely manner.

• Must be comfortable working with adult clients 18 years and over who are dealing with trauma, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, body image issues, issues with gender identity, major life transitions, self esteem and/or addictions

• Have knowledge and experience working with one or more of the following Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Mindfulness, Meditation Practices, etc

• Must be open minded and willing to work with a diverse population of clients
