Founded in 2017 by Kerry Duarte, LICSW, CIMHP, Ray of Light Wellness LLC is an online group mental health practice providing virtual counseling to individuals in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maine.

Our mission is to make high-quality mental health care effective, accessible, and affordable while supporting the unique needs of diverse individuals and communities. Guided by our motto, “Finding healing light in times of darkness,” we strive to empower clients to rediscover hope, resilience, and confidence as they navigate life’s challenges.

Therapy sessions are conducted through TheraPlatform, a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform that allows clients to meet face-to-face with their therapist from the comfort and privacy of their chosen location.

Ray of Light Wellness was created to remove common barriers to mental health care, including busy schedules, transportation challenges, physical limitations, financial concerns, and emotional obstacles that may prevent individuals from seeking support. We provide individual therapy for adults and offer 50–60-minute virtual sessions tailored to each client’s needs.

Our therapists utilize a variety of evidence-based and integrative approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based interventions, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Integrative Mental Health Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Therapy, and bilingual counseling services.

In addition to individual therapy, Ray of Light Wellness offers online therapy groups, educational mental health resources, and wellness content. Through our Instagram community, @rayoflightwellnessllc, we share practical mental health education, coping strategies, and wellness tips designed to support healing beyond the therapy session.
