RAY OF LIGHT WELLNESS LLC

Ray of Light Wellness LLC is a mental health group practice started in 2017 by Kerry Duarte, LICSW, CIMHP that provides online mental health counseling to Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut residents. The mission of this practice is to provide effective, accessible, and affordable mental health counseling and wellness services to a diverse population of clients and communities. The motto of this practice, finding healing light in times of darkness, emphasizes the intent to empower individuals who are feeling lost and overwhelmed to regain their strength, courage, and independence even through the most challenging of times. Clients meet with their therapists for individual mental health therapy through a HIPAA secured site, called TheraPlatform, that allows the therapist to meet with the client face to face through webcam anywhere the client feels comfortable and has privacy to do so. Consider this as a type of in-home therapy except no one has to physically enter your home.

Ray of Light Wellness LLC was started to provide services for individuals who would otherwise not consider therapy because of scheduling conflicts, high costs, transportation issues, physical limitations, and/or emotional restrictions. Individual counseling sessions are available for clients 18-65+. All sessions with clients are 50-60 minutes long. We specialize in evidence based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, Integrative Mental Health Therapy, Cognitive Process Therapy, Motivation Interviewing Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Somatic Therapy, and bilingual sessions. Ray of Light Wellness LLC also provides online mental health therapy groups. In 2025, the practice will start to introduce online mental health courses to educate anyone who is interested in learning more about mental health topics and wellness.
